2 / Is there an age restriction on taking the NextStep?
Yes, there is. Due to visa restrictions, you are only eligible to make the move if you are between the ages of 18-35.
3 / Can Goalkeepers make the move to Australia?
Yes, goalkeepers can make the move, but they are restricted in where they play. Due to new rules brought in by the FFA, only Australian goalkeepers are allowed on the matchday roster in the NPL. The rules for the state leagues are different, and goalkeepers can play there.
4 / Do you work with the A-League?
Due to the different rules and regulations in place for A-League transfers, we do not currently work with any teams from the top division in Australia. We work with the National Premier Leagues (NPL) and below.
5 / What other costs do I have to consider?
Some costs are dependent on the offer that you accept with a club, but be prepared to include visa costs ($650 AUD), accommodation, and flights when considering how much you will need to get set for your NextStep.
